22 new cases of chikungunya fever reported in Singapore

SINGAPORE, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- The Health Ministry Friday said that 22 new cases of mosquito-borne chikungunya fever have been reported since the last update on Sept. 5, bringing the total number to 200 cases this year.

The ministry said half of the 22 new cases were imported and the victims had a history of traveling to Malaysia.
