An aircraft involved in the Pitchblack military exercises made an emergency landing at Darwin airport today after its hydraulic brake system failed mid-flight.
Group captain Gavin Turnbull says the Singaporean E2C Hawkeye early warning aircraft had to use a cable on the runway after landing to stop the plane.
