MANILA, Philippines -- Through the efforts of the Singapore Heritage Board, the Philippine Embassy in Singapore and the National Historical Institute in Manila, a memorial to Jose Rizal’s visits there is being constructed and will hopefully be inaugurated on his birthday this year, June 19.
