Jan. 22 (Bloomberg) -- Tiger Airways Pte, the budget carrier part-owned by Singapore Airlines Ltd., flew 30 percent more passengers in the third quarter as it expanded in countries including Australia and India.
The rise in passenger numbers was greater than the airline's 19 percent increase in capacity, Chief Executive Officer Tony Davis said in an interview in Singapore today. He didn't say how many travelers the airline flew in the quarter, which ended Dec. 31. >>>> More
