Sovereign funds accounts for $3.84 bn in 2007

"The most active among these funds belong to Singapore through its two key arms GIC and Temasek, which account for two-thirds of the total deals struck by sovereign wealth funds in India in the previous calendar year. These two funds figured in varying deal sizes that add up to $3.4 billion, which is about 18% of the total PE deals struck last year. "
