Singapore and India Tourism Ministers Meet For Bilateral Discussion

Furthering bilateral relations with Singapore’s fourth largest visitor arrival market, Minister of State for Trade and Industry for Singapore, Mr S Iswaran, yesterday met with India’s Minister of Culture and Tourism, Ms Ambika Soni.

Minister Iswaran was in Bangkok, Thailand, for the 11th Meeting of ASEAN Tourism Ministers and related meetings. Minister Soni was in Bangkok representing India at the First Meeting of ASEAN-India Tourism Ministers.

The bilateral discussion between Minister Iswaran and Minister Soni included exploring new areas of possible collaboration between the two countries in mutually beneficial areas of tourism such as cultural exchange, youth travel and cruise.
