Intel executive based in Singapore fallen to death on Washington's Mount Rainier

Intel said Monday that one of its vice presidents was among the six who are presumed dead in a climbing accident on Mount Rainier last week.
"Intel is greatly saddened to confirm that Intel Vice President Uday Marty is among the six mountain climbers missing and presumed dead following a fall on Mount Rainier," the company said in a written statement, first reported in the San Jose Mercury News. "We are providing support in this difficult time to Uday's wife and other members of his family."
According to his LinkedIn biography, Marty was based in Singapore where he served as managing director of Intel's business in Southeast Asia. Full story
