Stomp.com.sg, 3 Dec 2013STOMPer Lim saw almost 100 packets of food, some of which were open, left unattended after a charity event at HarbourFront yesterday (Dec 2).
The STOMPer said the event was to mark an Asian youth organisation visiting Singapore before heading to the Philippines to do charity.
"About 100 packets of food were not consumed by the students and were left wasted," said Lim.
"What is the meaning of doing charity when they are wasting the food while people are starving," added the STOMPer. Full story
