Yaacob is very satisfied with how SingTel handled disruption despite revelation that the telco has no backup plan

SINGAPORE — Minister for Communications and Information Dr Yaacob Ibrahim today (Oct 10) said he was “quite happy” with the way SingTel handled the massive disruption to a range of services islandwide caused by the fire at its Bukit Panjang facility yesterday afternoon.
Responding to questions by reporters after a briefing by SingTel and a site visit to the facility, Dr Yaacob noted that SingTel responded to the situation “based on all their emergency plans and the BCPs (Business Continuity Plans) they have in place". Full story
