Tan Chuan-Jin: Singapore govt has signed agreement with other countries to allow their MNCs to transfer as many foreign executives as they want into the republic

Acting Minister for Manpower, Tan Chuan-Jin said yesterday that Singapore needs to allow MNCs to transfer their foreign staff here.
He was responding to residents’ questions at a ministerial visit to the Woodgrove area of Sembawang yesterday where a resident asked if the transfer of foreign workers in a MNC circumvented the new Fair Consideration Framework being put in place next year.
Mr Tan cited the fact that we must adhere to international agreements on this issue. Full story
