Vietnamese woman faces death penalty for trafficking 6.25kg of methamphetamine into Singapore

Singaporean anti-drug authorities Friday arrested a Vietnamese woman carrying 6.25 kilograms of methamphetamine at Changi Airport.
It was the second time in less than a month that a Vietnamese national has been arrested for trafficking meth in Singapore.
The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) said the next day that the unnamed suspect, 22, was arrested at the airport’s Terminal 3 with meth, also known as "ice," worth about S$1.25 million (US$977,253).
On August 10, another Vietnamese woman named Nguyen Thi Thanh Hai, 47, was also arrested at Changi Airport for carrying 4.1 kilograms of methamphetamine. Full story
