The lively tradition of Hari Raya celebrations that families in Brunei Darussalam have preserved and continued to practise has earned admiration from Singapore's Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Defence and National. Development, Dr Mohamad Maliki Osman, who was in the Sultanate for four days to experience the Aidilfitri festivities.
