OPINION: Does Vivian Balakrishnan's "dossier" proved AHPETC had attempted to collect extra cleaning fees from hawkers?

During a parliamentary exchange yesterday (9 Jul), the Minister for Environment and Water Resources Vivian Balakrishnan accused WP MPs, Ms Sylvia Lim and Mr Pritam Singh, of making “false and untruthful” public statements to cover up mistakes by the WP-run town council in Aljunied GRC, AHPETC.
Vivian went on the offensive, accusing an AHPETC property manager, Mr Tai Vie Shun, of attempting to impose extra cleaning costs on hawkers for cleaning the high areas, when these should be paid for by town councils.
He then said public denials from Ms Lim and Mr Singh were false and were contradicted by a dossier of documentary evidence he provided to MPs in Parliament ..... Full story
