Nine people missing after barge capsizes in Singapore waters

Nine people are believed to be missing after a barge, Guo Liang 677 capsized in Singapore waters about seven nautical miles north of Horsburgh Lighthouse on Wednesday.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) said in a statement, at around 1pm (Singapore time) on Wednesday, it received a report of the incident.
MPA said one crew member was rescued by a Police Coast Guard (PCG) patrol craft in the area. The rescued crew member reported that 10 other persons were missing. But subsequently, MPA was informed that another crew member had been rescued by a vessel in the vicinity. Full story
