Malaysian sex bloggers Alvin Tan and Vivian Lee, who were released on bail on Friday, now fear for their safety after receiving death threats.
The couple were bombarded with threats after they posted an offensive Ramadan greeting which depicted them eating bak kut teh with the words “Selamat Berbuka Puasa” - a Malay greeting for breaking fast - on Facebook two weeks ago.
Their personal details like addresses, IC numbers, and relatives' details were released on social networking sites such as Facebook, and their photo, accompanied by a menacing caption, has been circulated widely. Full story
