A second possible child abuse case has surfaced: The principal of a childcare centre in Tampines allegedly slapped and shoved a primary school boy against a wall, then made him stand in a corner of the room with a cardboard box over his head for three hours.
In addition to being made to stand in the corner, the boy was not allowed any food, water, or toilet breaks. The reason for his punishment: He had thrown a toy at a teacher.
