Singapore whines about its poor human trafficking report to the U.S.

Singapore's Inter-Agency Taskforce on Trafficking-in-Persons on Monday called on the U.S. Department of State to adopt a more objective methodology in assessing other countries and regions' efforts to combat human trafficking.
"This will ensure that a consistent, transparent, and measurable standard is applied to all countries taking into account the different legal structures and domestic contexts of countries highlighted in the report," the taskforce said in a statement. Full story
