Malaysia youth organisations slam Malaysian protestors in Singapore

Youth organisations yesterday slammed the 21 Malaysians who were arrested by Singaporean authorities for holding an illegal demonstration on Saturday.
The demonstration, which took place at Merlion Park, a tourist site in downtown Singapore, drew criticism from youth movements because it was held without a permit from the authorities.
“As Malaysians, it’s our responsibility to uphold Malaysia’s good name by following the rules and regulations set by any country we’re in,” said former Malaysian Youth Council vice-president Datuk Irmohizam Ibrahim. Full story
