Indian-origin polytechnic student in Singapore jailed in forgery cases

A 22-year-old Indian-origin student has been sentenced to 22 months in jail by a Singapore court for a series of cheating and forgery cases.
Suraj Kumar Sarabjeet admitted to 10 counts of cheating and forgery in a district court in this city-state on Friday, the Straits Times reported.
A polytechnic student, Sarabjeet posed as Captain Vincent Toh from the Singapore Armed Forces in January 2012 and ordered laptops worth S$44,074 on credit, the court heard. Full story
