Thai authorities investigating smoke on SIA plane

Singapore Airlines Ltd. and authorities in Thailand are investigating activation of extinguishers following cargo-hold smoke warnings on a flight from Singapore to Dhaka in Bangladesh.
The flight on Monday was diverted to Bangkok.
All 105 passengers and 12 crew disembarked safely at Bangkok and emergency services inspected the cargo hold, Singapore Airlines spokesman Nicholas Ionides said by email on Wednesday. Passengers were flow to Dhaka aboard other flights. Full story
