The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) and S.League clubs will partner the “Friends of Ganesan” in its campaign to raise funds to help former FAS Chairman Nadesan Ganesan, who is recovering from a stroke.
Spearheaded by Col (Ret) Gurcharan Singh, the campaign aims to encourage more well-wishers to come forward to assist and support Mr Ganesan’s recuperation and stay at his nursing home.
FAS had assisted in fund-raising efforts early last year, with the funds raised being channelled to the N. Ganesan Trust Fund, which was set up by his family members and friends last year to ensure that he receives appropriate nursing care. Full story
