Google Enterprise will be placing less emphasis on the Singapore market, with its public relations effort now concentrated out of Australia. There is also no longer a dedicated PR executive for its enterprise business in Singapore.
ZDNet understands from an industry source (who declined to be named) that Google Enterprise has "downplayed" its Singapore business, although no details were given as to how much the Web giant will scale back such operations in the city-state.
In October 2010, Google trumpeted its partnership with Singapore telco SingTel as a blueprint for the Web company to attract more operators in the region to act as resellers for the Google Apps productivity suite. Full story
