A website reporting on Singapore news has been asked by Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen’s lawyer to apologise not once, but twice, for defaming his client.
It was deemed to have not complied with instructions in the first letter of demand and repeated the libel in its first apology.
The apology and the lawyer’s second letter published on the website of The Real Singapore showed that the trouble started when it reposted a reader’s letter last week that was originally carried on TR Emeritus (TRE) website. Full story
