Kiwi jailed in Singapore over brawl

A New Zealand man who jumped bail in Singapore then turned himself in more than a year later, has been sentenced to five months jail for his part in a brawl.
Robert Stephen Dahlberg, 35, pleaded guilty to voluntarily causing hurt to Paul Louis Liew Kai Ming during a brawl at Suntec City in 2010, Channel News Asia reported.
The courts had allowed Dahlberg to go overseas in July 2011. He had been supposed to return by the start of the next month, but turned himself in to Singapore police on September 6 this year. Full story
