Survey: 92% of Singaporeans save money

A HIGHER percentage of Singaporeans have accumulated savings and investments than their peers in India, the United States and Britain.
More than nine out of 10 Singapore respondents - 92% - said they saved some money.
The Chinese had a slightly higher level of savings at 9%. But Singapore’s number easily trumped India, the US and Britain.
In those countries, the percentage of respondents of savers ranged from 64% to 70%. Full story
