Singapore Airlines Unit Scoot, Tiger Airways in Pact to Jointly Sell Itineraries

Scoot Pte., the long-haul budget unit of Singapore Airlines Ltd. (C6L.SG), and Tiger Airways Ltd. (J7X.SG) said Monday they will jointly market tickets to destinations served by either company.
Under the agreement, the two budget carriers will sell joint itineraries between Phuket, Ho Chi Minh City and Kuala Lumpur, where Tiger flies; and Sydney and the Gold Coast--served by Scoot. Customers can purchase a single itinerary for travel from Australia, via Singapore, to Tiger's destinations, according to a joint statement to the Singapore Exchange. Full story
