SINGAPORE, Oct 21 (Bernama) -- Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong wants the region to work towards a code of conduct for the South China Sea and hopes to see informal discussions on this started at next month's Asean Summit in Phnom Penh.
Asked by reporters if he saw any progress in the South China Sea issue, CNA said Lee acknowledged it would take some time, especially when it involved the issue of sovereignty.
CNA quoted Lee as saying that those countries could not concede and they would have to agree to disagree. Full story
