Telecompaper.com, 3 Oct 2012The mobile user base in Singapore rose to 7.880 million in July from 7.846 million in June, while the mobile population penetration rate was slightly up at 152 percent. Of the total mobile subscribers in Singapore, 171,800 are 2G postpaid subscribers and 1.562 million are 2G prepaid subscribers, according to figures from regulator IDA.
The number of 3G postpaid subscribers grew to 3.973 million from 3.949 million a month earlier and the number of 3G prepaid customers went up to 2.173 million from 2.117 million. Full story
