MacDonald sacks staff over delayed payment of food

A 34-YEAR-OLD employee of a fast-food joint in Singapore was fired from her job when she gave a packet of french fries to her daughter without paying for it promptly.
She explained that she had no time then to go to the locker and get her purse to pay for it as the fast-food outlet was busy then due to a lack of staff.
Her 10-year-old girl, who was hungry, had gone to look for her mother at her workplace.
China Press quoted the mother as saying that she had intended to pay for the fries after she was done with her work.
However, the outlet manager saw the incident and ordered her to submit a report as the woman had not followed the rules.
