Apple blog MacRumors is tipping that iPhone 5 pre-orders to open on September 14, in line with the release schedule the gadget maker used for last year’s iPhone 4S launch.
The story comes amid broad expectations that the iPhone 5 will be available from September 21.
Pre-orders for the latest iPad commenced on the day of the launch event (March 7 in the US), with the product shipping the following week (March 16) in a bevy of first-release countries that included Australia, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong. Full story
