Yaacob Ibrahim calls for unity and "cooperation"

SINGAPORE: Singapore’s Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs Yaacob Ibrahim called on Muslims in the small city-state to look out for another and push cultural integration while maintaining their Muslim heritage.
“Just as we encourage our family to do well, let us also continue to look out for one another, particularly the less well-off and our youth – finding them sources of support, ideas and encouragement with which they can go further in life,” he said in his Eid el-Fitr message to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan that saw hundreds of millions of Muslims worldwide fast from sunrise to sunset.
