Pearls Centre at Eu Tong Sen Street will have to be demolished due to the construction of Singapore’s sixth railway line - the Thomson Line (TSL) which is slated to open in 2019.
A spokesperson from the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) told inSing News that after the building is demolished, the land will be integrated with the adjoining parcel of land which already belongs to the State for “high-density mixed-use development”. Full story
