thepost.co.za, 23 Aug 2012Pretoria - Two Gatling machine guns - described in the Pretoria High Court as “extremely dangerous” and bordering on “weapons of mass destruction”, were yesterday the subject of an urgent application by an Armscor accredited weapons dealer.
New Generation Arms Management (NGAM) applied to have a permit re-issued that would allow it to have these weapons in the country.
The company’s permit to bring the ammunition into the country had also lapsed, and due to red tape, it cannot obtain the relevant permit.
The ammunition arrived via Singapore at Durban Harbour at the end of April. Full story
