SINGAPORE, July 2 (Bernama) -- As the world is about urbanisation on an unprecedented scale, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said proper planning was needed to ensure a high quality of life for city dwellers to live, work and play.
He said currently, cities housed more than 50 per cent of the world's population and accounted for more than 70 per cent of global output, while more than 2.5 billion people would move to cities by 2050. Full story
