Defence Minister Sukumpol Suwannarat has been asked by his counterpart from Singapore, Ng Eng Hen, to look for a larger training camp for Singaporean soldiers.
ACM Sukumpol said on Friday that the Singapore's Defence Ministry had asked for another military training area for some time but they did not want a permanent camp like Sai Yok camp in Kanchanaburi.
Sources said the Singaporean army wanted to expand the scale of excercise, for battle tanks and artillery. Full story
