Three indonesian maids fled to embassy to complain about risky chores

It’s been barely two weeks since the Indonesian Embassy announced its plans to blacklist employers in Singapore who give their Indonesian maids dangerous chores to do.
So far, three domestic workers have come forward to lodge official complaints.
24-year-old Yuti Primariyanti is alleging that her employer forced her to stand on the window sills of her second level bungalow house to clean the outside of the window. She has also lodged a complaint with the Manpower Ministry.
Sunarti Warkin, 30, was apparently asked to clean the exterior windows of her employer’s flat located on the 15th floor, while 28-year-old Anni Puji Rahayu complained that she was asked to hang laundry outside her employer’s fourth level apartment. Full story
