The alleged mastermind of the online vice ring, Tang Boon Thiew, has also been described by former associates as being one who was proper.
One of Tang’s former workmate at Yahoo! Singapore even described him as a “nerd”.
The woman and Tang – known to his friends as “Chris” – worked in the Internet firm in the early 2000s.
“He was a nice guy and seemed quiet, almost like a nerd – if he had his glasses on,” she said. “He seemed like a very decent fellow and there was nothing flashy about him.” Full story
