Member-of-Parliament Baey Yam Keng has apologised in Parliament for his comments on remarks made by a foreign student on government scholarship here, reported Channel NewsAsia.
Despite his apology – some folks were still upset.
Kevin Noel Lucian Chow wrote on the MP's Facebook page, "What sort of apology was that? I rather you not apologise as I think that would anger more people the way you did it."
Swee Kiong Victor Tang said, "This is not an apology. This is just pure damage control." Full story
