They approached a HDB branch office in Toa Payoh on 26 Feb, and to their surprise, discovered that a stranger by the surname of 'Li' was listed as an occupant in their flat.
On the matter, HDB has since apologised and explained that the error was the result of inputting a wrong identity card number into their flat record. Full story
