Singapore campus in the red in 2010

UNLV Singapore is an extension of the hotel college. It offers a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel administration. It opened in August 2006 with a total of 50 students enrolled in the program.
All funding for UNLV Singapore is generated through student tuition and an affiliation agreement with the Singapore Institute of Technology.
According to Singapore’s Business Times, the campus had accumulated a net loss of $3.25 million by June 30, 2010 and its operating losses had increased since its opening.
Although UNLV Singapore’s revenue totaled $7.37 million in 2010, its expenses amounted to $7.82 million, according to the Business Times.
Currently, more than 500 students are enrolled in UNLV Singapore. Full story
