inSing.com, 21 Feb 2012A part of a MRT railway track became dislodged and fell, nearly hitting a passerby on the head, according to The New Paper.
A spokesman for SMRT has confirmed the incident happened and added that its engineers have ensured that the tracks are still safe for operation.
Netizens, however, are upset. 'xAmberfx' commented with a bit of sarcasm "time to use cable ties again," making reference to the cable ties that were used recently to hold certain track components together after a major train service disruption last year. Full story
