inSing.com, 19 Feb 2012Netizens are outcrying over an offensive remark allegedly posted by a local PRC student on his "microblog" or "weibo".
The post, made in Chinese, said, "What's most annoying in Singapore, are those middle age and elderly ruffian-types, who glare at you or make 'tsk' noises when you accidentally bump into them. There are more dogs than people in Singapore."
The Chinese national student allegedly responsible for the post is Sun Xu, an MOE scholar and final year student in Mechanical Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS), according to the Temasek Times website. Full story
