African drug rings an international problem

DRUG rings operated by West Africans syndicates are not only a major concern here, but also at the 29 other countries which participated in the 17th Asia-Pacific Operational Drug Enforcement conference held in Tokyo recently.
Federal Narcotics Department director Datuk Noor Rashid said almost all the representatives at the conference admitted they were facing the same problems with West African drug syndicates. Full story
