LIONSXII and Malaysian Super League football. It's an open invitation to sarcasm -- just like mini-buses and traffic jams. Or tongkat ali and teh tarik. Cynics are greatly amused as to why the Singapore team is calling itself LionsXII. Why can't they be like everybody else in 11-a-side football such as Tamil Youth Bell Club XI or Sri Manjung XI?
