Myanmar president Thein Sein on goodwill visit to Singapore

YANGON, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar president U Thein Sein left Nay Pyi Taw Sunday on a goodwill visit to Singapore, aimed at promoting bilateral ties and cooperation, official sources from the capital said.
According to official statistics, Myanmar-Singapore bilateral trade reached 2.074 billion U.S. dollars in 2010-11 fiscal year. Of the total, Myanmar's export to Singapore amounted to 446.4 million dollars, while its import from the latter stood at 1.628 billion U.S. dollars. Full story
