Sharjah: Yet another international submarine cable cut, the third in two years, may possibly cause degradation of Internet services in the region as there were two international submarine cable cuts in Suez, Egypt and between Chennai and Singapore on Sunday.
The first one is SMW3 cable in Suez and the other one is i2i cable between Chennai and Singapore.
A press statement from du on Monday said: “We are issuing this statement in order to alert our customers to a possible degradation of Internet services as a result of the two international submarine cable cuts.” Full story
