inSing.com, 21 Dec 2011According to an AFP report, Hong Kong is raising the H5N1 virus alert to 'serious'.
It will cull 17,000 chickens today after it found three chickens infected with the virus more commonly known as the bird flu.
All live poultry imports have been stopped for now while investigations take place to trace the source of the infection. Full story
