Singapore's factory output grows on surge in pharmaceuticals

Singapore - Singapore's factory output surged in October as production of pharmaceuticals more than doubled, the government said Friday.
Manufacturing, which accounts for about a quarter of the city-state's economy, jumped 24.4 per cent year-on-year in October, after a revised 11.3-per-cent rise in September, the Economic Development Board said. Full story
