Former President and now Pampanga 2nd District Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and her husband, Mike, were set to leave the country today after the Supreme Court blocked a government travel ban that prevented them from going overseas.
An ANC report quoted Arroyo lawyer Ferdinand Topacio as saying that the Arroyos would leave the country at 5 p.m. but details of the trip remain confidential. Other reports said the Arroyos would take a flight to Singapore. Full story
