Yahoo! Singapore News, 21 Oct 2011Flash floods hit parts of Singapore in the early afternoon of Friday after a torrential downpour in the morning.
In a Facebook post at about 1:30pm, PUB, Singapore's national water agency, said that due to heavy rain flash floods occurred at Upper Serangoon Road, making two lanes impassable to traffic.
Users on Twitter also reported flooding in Bishan, Selegie, Thomson and Bukit Timah. Full story
